Thank you for your support and encouragement this past year with my debut novel, Kidnapped Hearts Book 1 of The Band of Friends Series. I was excited that it placed in two categories in Evernight Readers’ Awards: Best HEA (Happily Ever After) and runner-up for Best Suspense.
Recently, I signed a contract for my second novel, Entangled Love. Release date to be announced. Here’s a quick peek:
California sun and palm trees are elements for sanctuary. For native Emma James, the lively surroundings have brought nothing but heartache and chaos since the unexplained death of her husband. To pick up the pieces again, she finds employment and takes a getaway trip with her childhood friend Ryan, the one person she turns to in a crisis.
Ryan Cross, a retired professional skateboarder, has been in love with Emma in one form or another since they were kids. A year after her husband’s death, he can no longer ignore his feelings for her. But before he can be with Emma, life throws them obstacles.
A mysterious woman and an evil trio conspire to split the new couple apart with chaos and life-threatening maneuvers. The daunting task of finding out the truth behind her husband’s death lies ahead.
Ryan finds himself in a race against time to save the woman he loves and their future.
This year, I have plans to complete my current manuscript, Triple Jeopardy (I expect the title to change), the second book in the Band of Friends series, and to start a new series taking place in Duck, North Carolina surrounding Aqua Restaurant and Day Spa.
I hope everyone has a happy and safe New Year!
