This is a stop on a blog hop with several authors discussing their writing processes. Where authors offer glimpses of their work, writing process, and perhaps their innermost thoughts. Happy hopping!
Lea Bronsen’s books:
Q: What am I working on?
Romantic Suspense. I can’t seem to write anything different.
In the questions of love and death, where does the truth lie? Find out with Entangled Love this year! I’m finishing the last stage in the publishing process with my editor. Release date to be announced.
Passion, betrayals, and kidnappers flow with the speed of tornadoes in Triple Jeopardy. The manuscript is finished and submissions begin.
The Band of Friends Series continues, book two and three respectively in the series, the sequels to Kidnapped Hearts. Nothing is as it seems in novelette Mystic Hearts, a little paranormal mixed in with romantic suspense. Murder, mayhem, and disguises bring life to Deceptive Hearts as Paul’s secret is revealed and the woman he’s eyed for years reappears.
Q. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I’m not sure if I write different than other romantic suspense authors, but my style in writing romantic suspense, not only with romance, mystery, but with humor.
Q. Why do I write what I do?
I write what I love to read. Romantic Suspense/Mystery, laced with humor. I love writing and creating the meet-cue (the point where the hero and heroine meet) to the blossoming of the romance. Add a suspenseful plot or a good mystery to the equation and the perfect book is born – one to curl up to and lose yourself in, taking you away from your troubles…reality.
Q. How does your writing process work?
Usually a plot comes to me in a dream and it balloons from there. I write a rough draft, knowing the hero and heroines internal and external struggles, but not how they conquer them until I write. Then I revise to dig deeper into the characters and plot.
Q: Who will meet next?
Next up: Debra Andrews. She writes glitzy, sexy romances with a dangerous twist. Join her on Wednesday March 12th.
