  1. Well done in the awards! Scariest thing…. Umm, being in a house fire. I had a pan on fire in the kitchen. I took it off the stove so I could turn the knob off but I had no where to put the pan down as it was a tiny kitchen, unfortunately the hot fat splashed on to my hand. As the smoke filled the room and I was coughing violently, I nearly gave up, then a voice in my head said put the chopping board on the floor and you can out the pan on the board. Thank you, my guardian angel! Jennifer.denys@yahoo.com

  2. Congratulations on your awards. So excited for the 2nd book of Bands of Friends to come out, been waiting for it.
What is the scariest event that’s happened to you? When my son came out of surgery at 3 yrs old and his heart rate shot up to 195 bpm and after exhausting all other treatments they had to use the paddles to stop his heart for it to start again slower. We almost lost him that day.

  3. I’m not a good flyer to begin with, but I flew during bad weather. People were vomiting and praying as we went up and down and shook side to side. I just stayed tightly belted in.

  4. It would have to be when I fell and split my head wide open. I was in the 4th grade and playing on concrete bleachers. I fell face first and don’t remember to much of the day but it was a long summer of sitting in the house. But you know the funny thing was I was not scared until they had to take the stuff off my face and I saw my mom almost pass out.

  5. Congrats on all of your success! The scariest thing is the house fire my family and i went through earlier this year. It was terrifying. There was bad wiring in the attic, it caught my brothers closet on fire. When we opened my brothers door, it was filled with smoke. I was terrified something happened to him. Luckily he was okay. But the firemen destroyed our home, gutted the entire up stairs, trashed the bottom. We couldnt return home for months. We had to move in with neighbors. They were great, but it was so hard being away from home. For a couple months, everytime i went to bed, when i woke up, i kept thinking it was all a bad dream. Unfortunately it wasnt. I hated this year. It was hard, heartbreaking, stressful, scary… My heart goes out there to anyone who ever has to go through what we did. Thank you for the fantastic hop!

  6. Scariest things for me,.. losing my brother to cancer when I was 13, & 8 months later my 2 month old nephew passing away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome(SIDS). =( I couldn’t understand why these things were happening. =(

    Take care!
